What is Dental Bonding?
Bonding uses a tooth-colored putty and a high-intensity light to cure it to repair a decayed, chipped, fractured or discolored tooth. Often this is a cosmetic repair to improve visual imperfections in the smile, such as a split closed between two front teeth. The pictures illustrate a smile with a "diastema" or split between two front teeth closed by bonding composite resin.
Teeth Bonding Cost
One of the advantages of bonding is the cost. On average bonding of a single tooth is between $100 and $400.Bonding is usually part of a larger procedure and may be included as part of the cost of other procedures.
Tooth Repair Procedure
Another advantage of bonding is that it can be completed in one day. The tooth involved is cleaned and repaired then putty is molded and formed to make it look natural.
